Monday, April 11, 2011: Stirling Castle

 

Got up to our first day of poor weather (rainy, windy and cold). We visited Stirling castle. The main hall was closed until July of this year. I really enjoyed the castle and finally learned why Mary Queen of Scotts was forced from the Scottish Throne- she was Catholic. The sun came out but we couldn’t stay to visit the town because we had to move on.
