Saturday, January 15th, 2011: Kid's first Pub Visit

Today we met one set of neighbors Jane (an Episcopalian priest), Ian (a British history professor at Keele) and Claire (age 10). We had a delightful time. They had lots of trains for Brian to play with and Alexandra got to play with Claire and her 2 friends. Then we walked to Adam’s office and the sport centre.

Finally we walked to the village of Keele and saw where St. John’s Primary School where we are hoping Alexandra will go to school. While in the village we went to the pub to have a pint and chips. It was Alexandra and Brian’s first visit to the Pub. Overall mellow day. Weather was overcast/rainy, windy and in the mid 40’s.
